When Cherwell District Council launched its Banbury Vision 2050 campaign it needed professional event photography to capture the energy at Lock 29 and to showcase Banbury’s landmarks.
The project aimed to document the campaign’s commencement and highlight the town’s heritage and appeal through high-quality imagery.
The photography session captured key moments from the stakeholder event, which featured students, designers and local councillors discussing the future vision for Banbury. These images needed to convey the event’s significance, the engagement of participants, and the collaborative spirit of the initiative.
In addition to the event coverage, the project involved photography of Banbury’s various landmarks. The goal was to produce archive photography that Cherwell District Council could use in future work.
The landmarks captured included St. Mary’s Church, Banbury Cross, The Fine Lady and The Leys. Each shot aimed to highlight the town’s charm, historical significance, and vibrant community life.
This project showcases how good destination and event photography enhances gives clients great material to support their brand and communications.
