These are the four pillars of our Exeter design studio process:
They set DC Design Works and our graphic design solutions apart from other Devon based creative businesses. It’s a process built around strong values and honest, open collaboration with clients of all sizes. Let’s run through it step by step…
Sounds basic, but this is the bedrock of great work. Listen to a client, and get clear outline of expectations and limitations. Time spent tightening a brief at the start of a project is more than repaid in the end result.
The goal is to create an open, honest space in every project. A dialogue where client and designer are comfortable enough to challenge each other respectfully and push the work to tell its story and be the best it can be.
The graphic design process is often a ruthless cycle of: present ideas, discard ideas, refine ideas, present ideas, repeat. Sounds tough but it keeps projects fresh and in motion towards a result everyone is proud of.
Joyful, playful, proud. The spirit of a collaboration shines through in the work whether it’s a logo design, brand identity, or a corporate report. It keeps us all engaged and excited to uncover better solutions that elevate the work.
Organisations from across the UK have already partnered with DC Design Works. They see value in the work this design approach produces. From large local authorities like Oxfordshire County Council and Warwickshire County Council, to charities like Exeter City of Literature, to much loved independent coffee shops like Alma.
