The Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) had written an update for members on how their industry supports the government’s 25 year environment plan.
At only eight pages long, the focus throughout was to hold attention with clarity. The key was to create punch with simple, direct design choices based on the layout principles established in their Netherlands market report and sustainability charter.
Chunky pull quotes complement the light weight of the body copy, while confident drop caps guide the audience through the document. The simplicity of the grid allows for bold use of vivid images that bleed off the page, break containers and keep the reader engaged.
In print, the document is light and economic on silk stock. It was handed out to members and non-members alike at a trade event by the HTA.
